Luca-Barbu Agarici was born in Bucharest, Romania, in 2004. In 2025, he received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Groningen. He wanted to pursue a more technical career, thus he decided to continue his master’s degree at TU Delft in Biomedical Engineering specializing in Medical Devices. As part of the department of Bioelectronics and the MITUS group under dr. Tiago L. Costa together with Samuel Desmarais, his research is focused in designing stretchable interconnects for electrode arrays in order to deliver ultrasound treatment to the brain.
