MITUS Lab MIcroengineering Therapeutic UltraSound

Samuel Desmarais was born in Montreal, Canada. He received both a B. Eng in biomedical engineering in 2021, and a research oriented M.Sc. in engineering physics in 2023 from Polytechnique Montreal. During his M. Sc. he studied new ultrasound contrast imaging methods to monitor focused-ultrasound blood-brain barrier opening therapy. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in MITUS lab - bioelectronics section of the microelectronics department of TU Delft. His research project is centered on the design and the calibration of conformable ultrasound arrays for therapeutic applications.
